• Bad service, hidden charges. Use one of the reliable national rental co's instead

  I called for a price for a 24hr van rental specifically stating the times needed: pickup 2pm and return the same time next day as I've done with numerous hire companies before. The price wasn't that good but they were local so I thought I'd try them, support a local business rather than one of the national 'big-boys' that I had used numerous times before in other towns. Big Mistake! When I returned the van (2 hours early!) they started claiming it was a 2 day rental and would charge an extra days rental. This even though I'd only had the van less than 24hours in total and they had quoted me an all inclusive price based on the times I'd given them! No rental company ever treated me so bad. Avoid them. They will find any excuse to add charges to your rental. A real Arthur Daley outfit !
