La Margherita serve a variety of Italian and vegetarian dishes at their restaurant.
I've been going to La Margherita for many years with work colleagues and friends, not once has the experience been anything other than enjoyable. Tables for two or groups of 30, the table service has always been great and the staff friendly. The food is great, their pizzas are especially nice and I've never had a bad meal.
Don't be influenced by the review that rated this fantastic restaurant with only 1 out of 10. La Margherita, in my experience, prepares beautifully cooked, imaginative and tasty dishes. They offer a wide variety of food and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The whole atmosphere is unpretentious and welcoming. Save room for their famous ice cream!
Me and 12 friends went to the La Margherita on Sat Sept 25th 04. My first time there and my last. The meal started with soup which was 30 minits coming and more like luke warm water with left overs from the night befores dinners then my main meal came along peppered steak a big bowl with a small piece of meat look very out of place and would of fitted on a saucer .it was covered with pepper sauce i begain to cut the so called meat and it was very tough and i nearly ask for a hack saw more fitting tool to cut the meat than the out of place knife i had not bad for nearly £15 and not forgetting the vegetables and they were on a saucer then my sweet arrived profiteroles all 3 of them and i can say they were ok .my advice if u go to La Margherita eat before u go and leave plenty of time and have lots of money to waste in my view the La Margherita is a rip of and not good value try elsewhere
