Kelsey Kerridge health and fitness club Cambridge offers a range of facilities including Climbing wall, gym, squash, badminton, ballet, basketball, carpet bowls, circuit training, fencing, trampolining, weight training, aerobics and much more!
I've been to Kelsy Kerridge sports centre a few times and it is just an average sports hall, nothing out of the ordinary about it at all. There are good facilites indoors and the gym upstairs is well equipped and not too busy so you are able to use the equipment you want rightaway rather than having to queue up as you do in some gyms/sports centres. There are lockers provided and the changing rooms are clean and not too cramped. The toilets leave a lot to be desired and I am yet to spot a cleaner there whilst I have attended the centre. The swimming pool is of average size but it gets very busy at peak periods, especially with young children as there are schools relatively close by so not much chance for a quiet swim unless you go first thing in the morning during the week. The staff are more than willing to help out new members who are unsure of anything which I found very helpful. So all in all an average sports centre, lots of activites available and a good range of facilities, but nothing that makes it stand out from the rest. The area surrounding the centre is grotty - chewing gum and bird poo everywhere, in real need of refurbishment.
