14-16 Bridge Street,
La Tasca are a chain of authentic Spanish restaurants with a careful blend of everything that is good about Spain - warm decor, authentic cuisine and friendly hospitality. All this combines to create a great atmosphere, where you can relax and eat or drink as much as you like, from a selection of Tapas dishes to an authentic Paella. They also serve a selection of Spanish wines, sherry, beers and Sangria.
Luckily this place has a great atmosphere and is always busy when you walk past it, i think thats why it does so well. The food however isn't amazing. Authentic Spanish tapas it is not. It is obviously microwaved food, but it isn't that bad. Sometimes things couold be heated up a bit better than they are, but usually the food is nice, even though you are left wondering what kind of a business runs its kitchen on microwaving meals (im sure they would deny it but its obvious on the sizes of the tapas that they are micro ready!) but they do pretty well on it and its a hit with the people in cambridge, especially those celebrating birthdays etc (although dont expect them to get your food bill right if there is more than 4 of you - they nearly always add something on that you didnt ask for or double things so check your bill religiously!!)
