• They still owe me money

  I used their service back in '05. The cleaners got £7.25, while they received £2.35 for each hour of work. I felt this was excessive for their service (e.g. when the cleaner was on holiday I didn't get a replacement - none of the cleaners was long term and kept leaving) In ~7 months I had 4 cleaners, one came to the initial meeting but actually never showed up for work. The change from one cleaner to the other left me for weeks without help. I paid their charges 3 months in advance. When fed up with their service I cancelled the agreement but they never reimbursed me for the money I paid extra. I called several times and emailed about it, I was promised a cheque. Also, the check of the house keepers in not thorough; the cleaners told me, I wouldn't trust anyone from them without vetting them myself. In which case I might as well find a cleaner myself, which I did and has now been with me for 2 years. May be they have improved their service but I am still waiting for that cheque.
