Suffering and a search for meaning are inescapable aspects of our lives, and though we can grow from them, they are also often intensely painful experiences. I hope I will be able to help you in dealing with whatever you're facing, and support you in realising whatever is coming into being in your life.
Core Process Psychotherapy brings together insights from the wisdom traditions of the east, especially Buddhism, with western psychology and psychotherapeutic techniques. It works from the precept that beneath suffering, our true nature is one of freedom, happiness and health. It holds that awareness creates change and is in itself healing.
Within a safe, warm and non-judgmental space we pay attention to your arising experience as it unfolds, noticing what is happening for you and how that is. Simply put, Core Process Psychotherapy is about mindfulness in relationship.
I am a practising Buddhist but I have no wish to convert anybody, I welcome clients from all spiritual traditions and none. I am a husband and a father of two children. Presently I am in the final stages of gaining my MA, I expect to graduate in the spring of 2013. For the last few years I have been seeing clients in my private practise. During this time I have worked successfully with a wide range of issues and with people from various backgrounds.
